"Even Pets Find Goji Uncommonly Delicious"

I call her Lopsy. My 6 year old calls her Fluffy and my 4 year old calls her a hybrid between the two names, Fluppy. My 9-year-old daughter strolled through the door and promptly assigned her the enchanting name Arnebica. Arnebica? Anyway, these are the many names conferred upon a new addition to the family---a little grey rabbit with lopsided ears.

I couldn’t resist her. I was walking to the healthfood store with my two boys and they asked if we could stop in the pet store. We did. We stooped down to look at the rabbit in her glass box and I couldn’t resist her lopsided ears. I suggested that we take her home. They were overjoyed.

At home we set her up with a cage and water bottle, etc. and my daughter fixed a little bowl of veggies for her. What a happy rabbit. Fresh veggies!! She had a special preference for my organic red leaf lettuce that I was planning to put in my salad. Hmmph! Oh, well. Let her enjoy. I can always buy more.

The next day, a funny thought occurred to me. I wonder what she would think of Goji berries? I fixed up her bowl of organic red leaf lettuce, carrots, and radishes and sprinkled it all with Goji berries. Guess what she went for first?

Okay, yeah. Well, of course the Goji’s (otherwise why would I bother writing this).

Yes, I am probably the only person on earth with a goji berry eating rabbit. It is adorable to watch my little 2 year old hold a berry out for the rabbit to come eat. She hops right over for that treat. Now of course I only have my Lopsy/Fluffy/Fluppy/Arnebica experience to draw from but feel free to be generous with your Goji’s with any veggie loving pet you may have and let us know how it goes.
